New to 4 walls & a roof!

We have been tent campers...graduated to a 12ft box pop-up that got loving called the "Mouse House" after the first winter of storage as they infested it and ate every curtain..screen...canvas to the point of major destruction not to mention the SMELL!
So after cleaning it....burning the curtains and anything I could rip out I declared we had to have "4 walls and a roof"!
We just picked up a 2010 Kingsport 22ft last Monday.
It was a one owner and is in fantastic shape!
Everything works on it.
We never used the water on the pop-up but are trying to navigate thru its use for this one.
Many learning curves to come I am sure but we are thrilled and I can barely wait to sleep in it tomorrow night for Canada Day festivities at a friends farm!!
I have already learned so much from this site and am excited to learn all that anyone has to offer!

Mice also like four walls & a roof! Now they can really feast on expensive/hard to repair stuff!

Build yourself a "Bucket" mouse trap (Google it). Next, close up outside voids wherever you can with foam in a can. Same with inside voids.

There are many inexpensive tried & true methods to stop rodent damage. Don't fall for electronic thing-a-may-do's for a solution. Some people even rely on gopher snakes & feral cats.

My point is that your new rig is just as susceptible to rodent damage as your canvas one.

🎓 I always think I know more than I actually do! I'm not a 🚀 scientist, but I did stay in a Holiday Inn Express last night. 🏩
