New to Class A
I spent 4 years every summer with my Grandparents traveling in their truck and pulling a 21' trailer back when I was a teenager. Last year I spent the summer with my two boys traveling through 14 states. We decided to upgrade to a Tiffin Phaeton 40qkh for this summers trip to Alaska. This year my mom is also coming along. As much as I would like to have the kids experience boondocking, we will be staying in campgrounds so my mom will feel secure. Anyone have any advice or suggestions for our trip?

Welcome to irv2. We went to Alaska in 04 and I always tell my friends not to die before they go there. You're in for a great trip. Be sure to pick up a publication called Milepost.
http://www.milepost.com/
It's considered by many to be the travel "bible " of Alaska.

Welcome to IRV2!. Unfortunately my advice on Alaska is useless. But here it is anyways "Don't eat the yellow snow". "Avoid the ditches on the Alcan".
Hope you all enjoy your major trip. Phaeton's are nice.
