New to class A

Retired in 2012 and bought a TT to replace pop-up. Enjoyed it so much traded it in on Allegro Bay (2006) about two months ago. We made our first extended trip from NW Georgia to Oshkosh, Wi with no issue with MH. Everything worked well except temp fluctuation in fridge. Driving a 38'x8.5' box down the highway does take some getting used to (especially in construction zones). I appreciate the forum and and all the info available here.

Wonder if a small fan inside your fridge might help with your temperature fluctuations.

Safe and Happy Travels.

Hi Larry

Glad to have you here with us. Congrats on the new Allegro.

A small computer waffle fan in the fridge may provide enough circulation to keep the temps more steady. I assume you are meaning that certain shelves get colder. If it is the entire fridge that is fluctuating, then have the thermostat checked.

If you tell us the make and model of the unit you may get more answers.

Good luck and Happy Trails!!!!

This helps to keep track of those temps easier....

I've been looking at some of the conversations about Norcold and it seems my problem is not unique. I'm going to try some of the simpler solutions, such as the fan inside to see if that helps. Camping world (where we bought the MH) says the recall has been done. (Model no.1200LRIM)
