Hi everyone from Jim and Jeanie.

We've been full timing for 11 years. We are in Yuma, AZ in the winter and Coeur d'Alene, ID in the summer. Does anyone out there have a Tiffin RV with the aqua-hot hydronic heat system. I've never had one before and I was wondering what the approximate fuel consumption is for cold weather use?

Your Aqua-Hot will use about 1/2 gallon of diesel fuel per hour when the diesel burner is running. You will have noted that the diesel burner does not run all of the time.

Coach owners report usage in the 1-2 gallon per day range. This of course depends on how cold it is outside and how warm you want it inside.

Manuals for your unit are available on the Aqua-Hot website. If you post which model number you have, I can direct you to which manual to use.

Thanks for all the responses. We spend our summers on Coeur d'Alene Lake in northern Idaho and our winters in Yuma, AZ. If anyone is ever in those areas we'd be happy to meet with you. We feel very blessed to be there and love sharing it with others.
