New to forum

Hi. Want to introduce ourselves. We are full-timers since May & are enjoying our lives. We travel with a 6 year old pug, Winston, & a 12 year old toy poodle, Mona. So far we've camped in 25 states & have met so many wonderful people.

This is a beautiful country & we are so blessed to be able to explore it.

Safe travels, everyone.

Paul and Martha,

Great to hear from you both and looking forward to hearing more from you.

Started out FT in May and already visited 25 states. That is a lot of traveling!!!
We will be FT in Oct 2014 but at a much slower pace.

Safe Travels and be Blessed!

BTW - we're not trying to grab all the states, we have friends & relatives all over the nation who we're in the process of visiting. &, of course, we have the infamous bucket list USA.

Safe travels everyone.

It was a lot of fun. We spent time with dear friends, made new friends, & had some amazing experiences. Some states we spent only a night in (plan to return to many to explore further), but stayed days or weeks in other places. We have sketched out our plans now through the month of June.

As we traveled, we (as new retirees) learned a valuable lesson - slow our roll, travel 200 miles a travel day max or 2 hours max, stop by 2 pm, & stay 2 days in each location. We call it the rule of 2.

We also learned that planning is great, but having fun is the reason for the adventure.
