New to forum

First time owner of an RV. 1985 Ford, 350, Jubilee. And we know nothing about RVing. Did take a trip, it was good. Think something is wrong with the furnace thermostat, it wouldn't shut off. Where should we look for this part?

Glad to have you here in the forum with us.

I would try he internet or a good parts dealer like PPL in Houston (713) 988-5555. Even if they don't have it they may refer you to the right place.

Good luck

Happy Trails!!!

Welcome. What did the furnace do? Did it heat? Blow cold air? I am sure if you give more details someone can point you in the right direction.

We flipped the on/off switch on, set the temp. It worked great. We flipped the switch to off, and temp down. The fan kept blowing cold air, would not tuen off. Think something is wrong with the on/off switch.

How long did it keep running? The furnace (propane) fan will continue to run after the flame stops until the chamber cools down. Time is variable, but not by you. So there will be a period of unbeaten air after it quits (flame).

Is the fan switch on "auto" or "on". should stop when you switch to off but....

It ran all night. Killed the battery. That is why I think it might be the on/off switch on the thermostat. But thanks for the info about the fan running a while after it is turned off.
