new to forum.

a funny thing happened on the way to the forum. i bought a terry torus travel trailer. everything works inside. haven't tried the water side yet as it was way down in the fall and no way to winterize. the roof had a small leak but a few cans of flex seal spray fixed that. i have to fix the ceiling where i first walk in but that doesn't look too difficult. it pulls very easily and i found out the leveling jacks are all jacked up. but bricks and plywood work for now. spent a whole winter in it to save on rent. me and the misses and three cats. didn't take much to heat up or stay warm. the trailer is at my fathers' house for now until we can get a house of our own. my house burned down along with most of the town. we were part of the Malden /pine city fire. lost everything except three cats and one pickup. so by by savings hello trailer. i go down and visit once a month sort of a mancave thing now. if thing tank with the apartment i always have my trailer. now if i could only get manuals for my trailer.

Flex Seal will dry out a crack in my experience. There are really no manuals for trailers - like a car/truck manual. I use YouTube to show me how to I stuff.

Good luck and sorry to read about your house. It is always good to have a travel trailer and a 'go bag'.

Hi ! Welcome to IRV2! We’re sure glad you joined the gang here!

Congrats on the new rig! Most owners' manuals are too generic to be much use anyway. You can write down the make and model of all the individual systems and Google for manuals. Have fun and keep her between the ditches!

Good luck, happy trails, and God bless!

i found some of my manuals for the fridge stove and heater and water heater just no wiring diagrams for the trailer itself. i would like to upgrade the wiring and put solar in. found out the trailer is a 1985 according to the registration.
