Smile New to Forum! RVing for 35+ years

Howdy

Semi-retired Geologist & LEO CSI type (Science is my thing!). Navy Vet with one of those "all expenses paid" trips to SE Asia behind me. As my screen name indicates I'm both a Hunt & Fish type and enjoy just plain old camping too.

Started off in a Mobile Traveler 11ft slide-in. Progressed through 5 trailers including tongue pulls and 5th wheels. Currently in a Keystone Laredo 298RE. Wife & I have finally both retired (so far - ).

We are considering a move to a 30 - 32ft Class A since we like to go but don't plan on being "full timers". Jumped on here a while back looking for info and decided to stay around a while.

Wow you've been rving longer then I've been alive. Going from a towable into what I plan in buying within a couple of seasons . the codger in me says buy a gasser and don't take on debt, the vanity in me says prevost welcome to the forums. Heck stay a whole long time the grey matter between your ears will only benefit the unedumacated sorta folks like me. One of my childhood friends became a forensic pathologist. I don't have the sea legs for it. But i'm guessing that your CSI didn't' involve waving your hands in the air to operate the computer, bet you had a bit of sleuthing to do. If I was a betting man I'd say you own at least one rifle and maybe a pole with a handle on the end or two.
