Welcome to the group. I have the same tow vehicle but my TT is smaller. How well does it tow your TT? How much are you towing?

The trailer comes in around 6,300lbs. It tows great! I was nervous picking it up because it is 6 feet longer and 1800lbs heavier than my last trailer. With the weight distribution hitch and the addition of two sway bars, it's a dream to pull. I actually saved a bit on my gas mileage on the way back because of the aerodynamic front cap

Great looking trailer, congrats! Just saw one on a dealer's lot today. Like the front cap treatment. Our new KZ Spree has a similar exterior color scheme. White is so yesterday.
I am new to the worrying about TV weight capacity thing. Just curious if you have looked at your max. payload and towing capacities for your specific model truck? The factory spec. say 6,800 lbs for the TT to which you need to add another 1,000 or so of typical payload you add to the TT. I could not see a listed factory tongue weight, but you should be in the 800 - 1200 lb range. Then you need to think about passenger weight and things you put in the bed. Seems like you *could* be tight on payload or even towing capacity or even over?? I don't know Dodge trucks at all.

Yes we are tight on the weights but according to my math, not over. I did a fair bit of research before taking the leap.
Truck:
Max tow: 8500lbs
Carrying capacity: 1500lbs
Trailer:
Actual weight : 6320lbs
Hitch weight: 846lbs
We have a weight distribution hitch and two sway bars. We only travel within a few hours of us and never carry water with us. I figured doing the math that we'd be close but not over by any means unless I'm missing something. Maybe it's a good argument for a new truck anyways
