Post New to Group, with original RV

Hi All,

2001 Diesel Bounder original owner from NY, she has ru(e)sted for the last 8 years, waking from hibernation has been interesting and adventurous. So much maintenance to catchup on, first thing was putting on new rubber, lubes, batteries, .... that is the endless list of have to do soonest. All in all I am happy to report things are not as bad as I had imagined. Trying to figure out an issue with the Aux bat drivers jump switch and the Jacks. In fiddling I manage to blow the fuse to the 2 12v DC power plugs on dash and have spent a good deal of time looking and not finding the fuse. This winter I aim to drop the Onan and do the over due maintenance that needs full access as Bounders didn't have the generator on a slide! First bolt I touched on the Onan mount broke like a brittle bread stick. The ISB exhaust manifold needs new gaskets, while in there my guess is it will need a new manifold as well, and that will be a lot of fun on a 20 year old east cost machine. I am just wondering how much more I would be paying if I brought it to a shop, well the hope is a little anyway. Guess that depends on what is broken and what I break!
I have upgraded to LED bulbs, and they are the way of the future run so cool.
Anyways sorry for the long introduction.

Happy and Safe Travels for All.
