new to iRV2
hi everyone! we have been camping over 40 years. just traded in our 2002 Arctic Fox 29.5E 5th wheel for a 2013 Redwood 36FL. been looking on here for any information, good or bad, from owners of the Redwood. not sure when we will be getting ours - ordered it Sept. 15th. Supposed to be sent to the autobody shop today for the paint job and ready for shipping to NY on Nov. 30th. We are very excited. Will be using for weekend camping and a 2 week vacation for the next 3 years. We have a 2008 GMC dually, duramax, allison transmission. Reese hitch rated for 16,000..we were told by a Reese dealer that it would handle this camper (hope he's right). After that (retirement, hopefully) we plan on extended camping - traveling west... I hope everyone with the Redwoods continue to post their experiences here. I will keep everyone informed of our progress and issues.

brought home the Redwood today!
Wanted to update everyone. Picked up the new Redwood. Home with it today. A few issues - wrong patio awning had been installed, scratch on dining table, and hydraulic fluid leaking out of front jack. Luckily, all parts being ordered, shipped to our house, and service techs are supposed to come here and replace everything. I'd like to add a photo but I don't know how to do that on here. anyone able to explain?

Hi and
When creating your post, right below the dialog box in which you are typing your post you will see 2 options:
Post Quick Reply
Go Advanced
Click Go Advanced
You now have 3 choices:
1) above the dialog box you will see several icons, click the yellow one that looks like a mountain. THis will let you link to an image already hosted on the internet,
2) above that icon and a little to the left is a paper clip, click on it and it brings up a new screen. THe top of this screen gives you the option to select a file located on you computer or on an attached network device.
Click the choose file button and you will now be searching your harddrive or network attached storage device.
Select the file.
At this point either select the upload button or click on the next choose file button to add a second file.
Once you are done selecting files to upload, click the upload button.
Your 3rd option is simply another way of accessing option 2) above, you can get there by going to the Additional options section which is located below the dialog box and clicking on Manage Attachments.
Hope this helps, if you need a more detailed description let me know and I will take screen shot pics for you and post them.
