Hi,

New member here. I have a 2010 Fleetwood Pulse 24D that I have had a couple of years. Live in northwest Florida, but got the RV so I can escape the summer heat. My first long trip was to the very northeast tip of Nova Scotia and last summer was spent partly in northwest North Carolina and the New England states. Should have been on this forum a long time ago so I don't have to keep reinventing the wheel!

Welcome, sounds like a great trip. We are going east next fall. Went west last summer like you to get out of Texas heat. Lots of good info here that can save you time and frustration.
Happy Travels

I highly recommend the Blue Ridge Parkway if you have never done it. I have done the entire length in two separate trips. I like it so much, I tried to come South on it this past October, but guess what happened. It was closed. :( Don't you love our leaders in Federal Government..... Western North Carolina has some really high elevations and was so cool I spent almost a month there waiting on New England to cool off.
