New to iRV2
Not really new to RVing in general, but we have recently switched from a travel trailer to motorhome. The travel trailer thing was pretty easy, hook up and go, get there, unhook, set up and take off in the truck to explore. The motorhome is a bit of a change, but I love the convenience of just getting in and driving and not having to hook up and haveing a huge beast of a trailer to worry about. But the issue of getting around once we hit our destination prompted me to start searching the net for info, ideas and answers and boy did I find all of that and then some here! So happy I found this resource!
We purchased the motorhome in July and took our first trip from the oregon coast through to about Pt. Reyes a couple weeks ago. It was great and I can't wait to go back. It was a good trial run for the older coach and we were very happy with how it performed and handled. Hubby made a rookie mistake at our first stop and did not put the regulator on the water line and it blew the connection behind the toilet out. Of course he still denies that was the reason. heh....but I had used it with the pump enroute and it worked fine, so....we could not use the water for our trip, but we managed. We kept a list of things we would need to do to the coach or need for the next trip and I just received a huge order from Camping World. Lol. Now we just need to finish outfitting to tow for the trips when we do want to leave the rig and explore.
Thanks to the folks who put this site together and all the contributors who share all their valuable info, ideas and pictures!
Annie
