New to iRV2
We have owned a motor home since 2004 and have logged 55,000 miles including several trips from our home in Olympia, WA to the midwest, southwest, east coast and southern states. Our first motor home was a 1991 HR Imperial 35'. We just down sized to a 2014 Thor Hurricane 27K and we're excited to experience all the "new" features (i.e. slideouts). Lots to learn 🙂

Thanks for the warm welcomes We took a quick trip around the Olympic Peninsula. Just to get a feel for the 2014 Hurricane 27K. No major problems at all. The dealer will be fixing a few things we knew about when we bought it. Otherwise just a few glitches I can fix. The tool drawer built into the entry steps flies open, the pantry drawer does the same thing. I am going to install sliding door locks to secure them. One of the street side storage bins ended up wet. No leaking from the coach. I think the door seals let in some water from the rain storms we drove through. Anyway we love our "new" ride.

I have a 2014 ace and had similar issue with storage compartments. I bought new rubber seals and installed which fixed the problem. Home depot carried them. I’m sure most hardware stores will have them. Easy fix. We love our Ace and I’m sure your gonna enjoy your Hurricane they seem to be similar models.
