New to iRV2

Hi All,

New to iRV2 and currently living in Arizona. My husband and I have owned a 1976 VW camper van in the past and an '84 Fleetwood Southwind that we refurbished/remodeled. We don't currently own an rv, but are making plans in the next 2 years to sell our home (once kids graduate from college) and go full time for a few years. We are in the research phase right now. We are looking at class B+ or small C rigs. We really like the Leisure Wonder Murphy Bed, but the price tag of $100+k is a big turn off. We are hoping to spend $50k max and would prefer a newer used rig with low miles. Maybe someone can chime in with a few models to research...

Must haves:
1. 25ft max
2. Dry bath
3. lots of storage as we will be living in this full time for a few years
4. queen bed (prefer island or murphy over corner)
5. No other beds needed, we have had our kids with us for over 20 years and we are ready for some mom/dad/no kids time

We have also looked at skoolie conversions, which we would be capable of, but right now don't have time or place to work on one :/.

Anyone have a few suggestions of rigs we can look at that would fit the bill?

Welcome to the forum.

You are joining a good group of folks here with good info to share. Leisure makes a very good rig. You might want to look a used Dynamax Isata3. Just over 24 feet and pretty well made. We started off with one 3 years ago and had it for 18 months or so.

Good luck with the search and enjoy the adventure!

Welcome to the IRV2.COM

Well if you want to escape from any points North during the Winter Months, check out Florida campsites and camping RV Parks at:
http://www.campFlorida.com

Lots to see and read in this forum which will add to your overall fun in RVing North America. You will find a lot here and for someone who is new can be a bit overwhelming for some. So take your time and it may help to click on the top LEFT on HOME As this will layout the all the FORUM more complete which will help you see everything easier.

Make sure to review the rules.

Also, on the SECOND menu, you can add your USER CP The information you input here will help all other member learn more about you and help you find more of what interest you. So, first thing first is to set up your profile (USER CP) so everyone can get to know you better. Take it slow and once opened start at the top. You can even add a photo of self and RV.

On top are two menus and the one on top is the forum and the one below that is more helpful and personal for you to tell your story and find helpful tools for you.

Any questions just post and ask the group and a whole and many will get back to you very quickly in most cases.

Safe Travels and Happy Trails as you RV into the Freedom That is the American Road Trip.
Again welcome.
