New to iRV2 as well as full-time RVing
Greetings all,
My wife, dog, cat, and I are new to full-time RVing and are getting ready to hit the road in about a month. We're working in Yellowstone for the season and then who knows after that. Our rig is an old 22 foot Nomad by Skyline we've fixed up the best we can. We can't wait.
The reason I came to this forum is because I have a couple questions. I don't know if this is the best place post it, but I'll throw it out there just the same.
What have you done for health insurance while out on the road? We've had trouble finding (hopefully affordable) plans that do comprehensive coverage, including hospital and prescription coverage, that do not require a primary care physician or are not state-specific. If all that's not available, what have you done for catastrophic coverage?
Also, if you work seasonally, can you suggest some good jobs you can work or have worked in the winter season, and/or resources for finding those?
Any suggestions for what has worked well for you and yours would be most welcome.
-Jam

Welcome to the site. This is a great place to get all kinds of information. You'll have better responses to your questions if you post them as separate subject lines in the appropriate areas. They aren't likely to be seen by many people here in the newbie check in area.

Welcome! We have health insurance with CoventryOne and are very pleased with their service. They offer nationwide provider coverage and were HSA linked so our out of pocket medical costs are tax free.

Hi folks! Welcome to IRV2! It's great to have you join us!
I can't help with your questions but I would suggest you post them over in other areas of the forum. At the top of the page, select "Forums", then "RV Lifestyles Forums", there you'll find "Full-Timers" as well as Workcamping and other things. You'll get much better results over there as not many folks hang out here in the Welcome area.
Good luck, happy trails, and God bless!
