New to iRV2.com

My wife and I just got back from fl. in our 2013 Thor Challenger 37GT and had a great time. We've had it for several months now and just love it.
I installed a 5 star tuning package and did the sway bar adjustment it handles great. We did only get 8 miles to the gal. with no toad. I also add a innotech tpms and a Garmin 760lmt. Can't wait for spring!!

BTW: Love the 37GT's kitchen penisula and dual sink bath! Very nice!

Safe travels

from a fellow 37GT owner. 8mpg is about what you should expect. With a toad it'll drop to 7 or so. Don't sweat it, just enjoy the ride!

After installing the 5 star tune we jumped in and went to Florida for a 12 days. This was a 2000 mi. round trip. I noticed that the rv was not shifting into 4th when I would come to a hill it would just go to 3rd (not in cruise). If I would push the pedal just right it would go into 4th if I was lucky, but buy then I was running very slow. I emailed 5 star about this and they sent me a new tune so it will shift into 4th easier. I wont be able to try it for a time we just got 8" of snow and no trips planned. Have you noticed this?
I installed the 87 daily-tow tune. 5 star is a great company!

Hi Phil14 nice to meet you. If you go to blogs at the top of the page and pick ( your blog) then on the left side of the page pick (post to your blog) Then you can write a blog that will post to (new post). Then you will get more replies. That is what I did.

Welcome to IRV2. Enjoy your new motorhome. Peninsula kitchen. Cowabunga! If you only drive downhill with a tailwind I hear mileage improves. I just wish it would work out that way everywhere I go. I take it your punch list is done and over with and next season will be just enjoyment?
