New to motor home rving

Wife and I just bought a 2005 Travel Supreme 40DS04 which culminates our camping experience from tent to motor home. Wife will be retiring in January and I plan to follow anytime but no later than October of 2013. Looking forward to a couple of trips a year to see the things we only have seen on the Discovery or Travel channels! Seems that no matter what we learned in a travel trailer or 5th wheel we can always learn more in our "new" motor home and we are looking forward to this forum for all the help we can get. So when I ask the dumb questions just remember I really want to learn and enjoy the experience as much as possible. Thanks in advance for all the experience each of you bring to our learning.

Only dumb question is the one not asked. Everyone started where you and I are. Congrats on your class A, we purchased ours in August. Hope you enjoy yours as much as we are enjoying ours.

Motorhomes are very complex machines. You will always have questions about something on it. Ask because someone will know.

Hi folks! Welcome to IRV2! It's great to have you with us! Congrats on the new rig! We pulled a 5er for 10 years before getting the MH earlier ths year. We immediately took a 2-month trip out west that we had been dreaming of for a looooong time! We also retired in 2010 and enjoy every minute of it! Good luck, happy trails, and God bless!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Thanks to all for the warm welcome. Really look forward to this forum and all the good folks on it. Have already seen some valuable information to questions I haven't even thought to ask.

Merry Christmas to all.
