New to RVing

Brand new to this. Located in the Phoenix area. Just picked up my 2014 Lance 2185 with the hopes to do lots of fishing and hunting with my family. Any suggestions for a good first time dry camp with good fishing would be great.

Howdy and welcome! Congrats on the new rig. I'm not familiar with dry camping in your area, but there should be plenty in AZ! Have fun.

Depends on what you want to do and how far you would like to drive. I like the lakes up by upper and lower Lake Mary. There are a couple other ones up in that area (just south of Flagstaff), or Woods Canyon Lake up on the Rim, they have a nice camp ground and you can walk to the lake.

I also live in Phoenix and there is a lot of excellent forest service land you can dry camp on. Are you looking to head north to the mountains or south to the desert right now? Do you want an RV campground or just to park along a forest service road?
