New to RV'ing

Hi everyone. We are Steve & Lisa from Arizona and not currently RV'ers. Lots of research happening as we are 8 years from retirement and looking to get started with a 5th wheel and 1 ton dually truck (shopping begins).

We probably won't use it much until retirement then we will likely leave Arizona during the summers for cooler weather. Our vacations up until now have usually been spent on cruise ships but we have seen very little of the good ol' USA. A few small roadtrips will be our vacations until we retire.

Welcome glad you found us. Where in Arizona do you call home? Lots of great RV place to see in Az. We love the North Rim of the Grand Canyon, & Quartzsite in the winter.
Good luck on your vehicle & 5th wheel search. Buy the truck first than get the 5th wheel that will match tow wise.

We are in a little town called Marana outside of Tucson. It's actually called Avra Valley.

We are actually likely going to get the home first then can take our time finding the perfect hauler. To me, I know what I want in the home and they are all big (35+') and heavy so we'll need a big truck to pull it. 5th wheels are easy to come by but the diesel's that pull them not so much. The nice thing is we can take our time finding the right truck since the RV can stay on our 1+ acre of land easily without needing to be moved so we have all the time we need to find the truck. My husband is looking for a Dodge Ram 3500 diesel.
