I acquired my rig on a good deal. I know there is a lot of work to do. Not affraid of that. But, whats with the rubber roof re-coating. I read a bunch of stuff here and there about all the different products. I was told at the hardware store that Sno Roof was OK to use on my rubber roof. There a is a bunch of little tears and cuts in the roof membrane. I have found and patched the ones I found, but what about those I can't see or find.?? There was an old coating of some type on the roof when I bought it. It was peeling and cracking so i carefully scrapped it off. Can I use Sno-roof, or what?

Chet--you will get a lot more responses to your questions if you post them in the section of the forum that corresponds to your question. I see that you are a Fleetwood owner, so you might be interested in the Fleetwood Owner's Section. Many people never check the "introduce yourself" section so you are missing a lot of great help!
Also, you can use the SEARCH function (at the top of the board) to see if there are posts on subjects you have questions about. Here is a search result on "Roof Coatings." https://www.google.com/search?q=roof...earch=irv2.com
Hope this helps!

Welcome to IRV2! We're really glad you joined us! You'll find lots of friendly folks willing to share their knowledge and experience, and great moderators who are fair and respectful! I would suggest that you post your questions over in the appropriate areas of the forum for better responses. Not too many folks hang out here. Good luck, have fun, and God bless!
