NEW to rv's, 2003 Gulfstream 8408

Thanks for your post but i bought this rv back in late May. So far we love it, i haven't found anything, yet, that doesn't work. This being our first rv i'm sure we have a lot to learn and of course we have nothing to compare it with. We looked at a lot of rv's for over a year, but we didn't get out on the road with any of them, other than to drive for a couple of miles or so. But to me this unit rides and handles great.

Now having said all that, the next thing i plan on doing is a great deal of up dates/ mods to the unit. like 3 new fantastic fans, a new auto tracking satellite dish, two new 32" 3d flatscreeen tvs. , a new digital hd local tv antenna, new hd color 3 camera and monitor system and a new Stryker spot light system. To replace the old original one which i tore off with a low power line the 3rd week i had it. Yes yes i know ive gone overboard and i could have spent the money on a newer rv but then i would have still probably not had all the extras i wanted and then i wouldnt have had the money to do it with. So you do what you got to do or at least what you think you have to do.

So if you have any advice on how to, or not to, install these items that would be great. But try to keep it up beat please, so far i am really enjoying myself and i would like to keep it that way as long as possiable.

We have 2003 Friendship. Love it-does have 400 Cummins. Had Dutch Star on previous RV-some of the cabinets & etc not quite as good as DS. I also think you need to check out the electric slides and make sure they operate good.
The bus drives like a dream and handles Great.
