Hey. I'm new here. I am not an RV owner but we have been planning to purchase a motorhome for several years. Covid kind of messed with the timeline somewhat but it's provided extra time for research etc. My main idea is to seek out advice on what to look for in a motorhome, what to avoid, etc. Hoping you experienced folks are able to offer some insight and advice. Thanks in advance.

Glad you have joined us.

If you’re not in a hurry and still doing your research. Try renting an RV in the same class you are considering. Even though rentals are basic you’ll get an idea of what type and size fits your needs. Also try to visit RV shows where you can see different models and options. Not everyone has the same needs that’s why there are so many choices.

You are joining a good group of folks here with good information to share. Read the various threads here and ask questions as they come up or add information if you can.

I agree rent various units a few times to see what may work for you.
