New to the community
Hi, just wanted to say hello. I'm new to the community but not to RVing. Started with a 1973 Brave, 2000 Minnie Winnie DL, 2008 View, and this week a 2014 Journey 34B. Plan to install a CB radio in the new coach and also convert the Direct TV dish to Dish network. Anyone have any experience with the Winegard OE-Dish conversion kit.

Thanks everyone for the WELCOME. :-) in my research the last few days I discovered that Winegard does in fact make a satellite (OE-DISH) conversion kit for our new Journey. The Journey came with a DirectTV dish and we have Dish Network at our non movable home. Winegard will only allow authorized dealers to order the kit but they will sell you the VIP 211Z box for $99.95 including shipping. Called our RV dealer and asked the service department to order the kit and I'd order the box. Waiting for all the bits and pieces to come together to get it done. BTW, Dish only wants $7.00 more a month to add the box to our existing account. Direct TV wouldn't even quote me prices unless I gave them my SSAN!!!!!!! Waste of my time even talking to them but made the decision to convert a no brainer!!!! Just saying...........
