Hello all,
We just located the forum and have been impressed with all the threads.
We went fulltime earlier this year. We sold the house and bought a Newmar 41' Essex. I took an early retirement (51 years old) last December and my wife left her sales job this year. We hope to travel with my consulting work and look forward to meeting new friends on the road. We are loving the lifestyle and freedom.
Thanks for all the information we have learned from the forum members already. We hope we can add some information and humor as we travel.
Ken and Mary Beth

Ken and Mary Beth, WELCOME to iRV2 and the Newmar Owner's Forum!!

Somehow your "new member" avatar turned into a "Newmar Owner's Forum Member" avatar, imagine how THAT happened!!

I have linked your first post to the Newmar Owner's Forum here on IRV2 where you can find out "everything Newmar" from other Newmar Owners.
Ed Skibinski is the PA regional director Kountry Klub and usually keeps us up to date on kountry Klub happenings.

Glad to have you on board and look forward to hearing more of your travels and experiences!!

Welcome Ken and Mary Beth,

We purchased our first Motorhome, Oct. 2003 it is a 2003 Itasca Sunrise 36M, it was used
with 8,628 miles on it. My first experience driving a MH, drove it home to Michigan from Indiana 360 miles. Enjoyed it. We have a total of 29,000 mile to date.

This change of life"style, retirement is great, I "retired" 03/31/2005 at 60 after 42 years with the same small company. Time flies when your having fun.

We Love Pennsylvania, my parents are from Hazelton, ancestors settled in PA in 1732. We will keep our home in Michigan and do our traveling in the motorhome. We think it's the best way to travel.

We wish you many happy and safe miles ahead for you and yours.

Thanks for the welcome notes. I will get some free time next week and will try to add more information, perhaps even some pictures. MB and I are off to a baseball game. Our nephew is starting pitcher tonight for the "Lancaster Barnstormers". He is playing in Somerset NJ...so we are off to the game.
Bob, how do I create the avatar with a picture of our rig? And thanks for putting in the Newmar Owners group avatar.

Welcome to IRV2. Hope you have a great time in your new toy and enjoy not punching the clock or turning the crank.
