New to the irv2 forums
New to the forum - not so new to RVing. I am from the Beaumont, Texas area. Owned a 27 TT for the last 13 years. We just finished our month of July down at Boliver Penisula - I still work and the bride is retired. So I made the trek to work(Beaumont or Houston) every day during that time. The point is we really enjoyed our stay and got the fever to upgrade. 2-4 grandkids staying with us in a non-slide, bunkhouse will do that to you.
We are in the process of stepping up to a Class C motorhome...which made me go trolling and found this site. I have found 2 that I like - Thor Chateau BH and the Coachman Freelander BH - both that I have looked at on a Ford Chassis but the one I found in Fort Worth(Coachman) looks to have the best price and may be well worth the drive. The bride saw Thor today and really likes it - she is already figuring out how she will begin to downsize on pots/pans and inside storage. That seems to be man difference between the TT and MH.
She will go look at the Coachman here in town next week - thinking she will like that one the best when she sees the storage differences.
Anyway - we could be expecting our new family member - the motor home - in the coming weeks - can't wait to share in the appropriate forum here when we do.
Thanks to all the contributors.

Welcome, looks like your fun is just beginning. What I can recomend, is to make a check list on a spread sheet with 2 columns. One with must haves, other column, nice to have. Take that list with you and document as you look at each MH. Also stay in your price range as you look. You will find what best suits your needs. Enjoy!!
