New to the Motor Home life....could use help?
I have a 1983 Midas Freeport 23' Class C motor home. I have been going nuts, trying to get some owners manuals. Books on the equipment in side. How to use these items, and camper maintains. Would very much like any, and all the help.
Thank you.......

Welcome and glad to meet you!
You might want to post questions like this in another forum, such as the Vintage forum or MH discussions. Many of those folks do not frequent this particular forum.

Owners manuals from the coach-builder are usually very generic and not much help. Manuals for the various appliances and systems are often available online if you Google search the specific make and model. This link should provide many of the individual manuals.
Service Documents and Manuals
Best of luck and congrats on joining the ranks!

There is very little specific to your RV when it comes to owner's manuals. In fact most everything has it's own owner's manual. EVEN THE FRONT DOOR believe it or not.
There are two books. One is, as I recall, titled: The RV Book,
And the other: The RV Owner's Handbook.
Both are generic owner's manuals.. I have one, forget which, and in a couple places the instrucitons in it are BETTER than the factory manuals. I'm told both are roughly equal in quality. One is a WOODALL's publication and you should be able to find that at Camping World, the other, Can't help you on a location, forget where I got mine.
Also, any questions.. Like the big stone thing on one Star Trek Episode (City on the edge of Forever, which beat out Trouble for Tribbles for an award).
Well.. I forget what it said, but it was created to answer questions and the comment was on how long it had waited for a question.
We love questions.. It is how WE learn what we do not know.

Try asking specific questions about particular equipment, such as it has a Norcold refrig., how does it operate? Show pictures of diff. switches etc., some folks may recognize them and explain what they do. Lot's of intelligent RV folks on this site.
