New To The RV World

We are first time RVer's and I am so glad that we were able to find this forum. We purchased a used 2008 Carriage Domani and picked it up in Texas. The trip back to S Fla. was a "real" experience. Its the first time I have ever pulled a 5th Wheel. I want to tell everyone that the truckers on the hwys are your best friend. I am still trying to learn all the things about our purchase and I have really picked up a number of great tips on this site. We are now planning our first trip and can't wait to get started.
Thanks, Henry and Mary Ann

Welcome to the forum.

You will learn a lot on here, you just have to read a lot, do searches, and ask questions when you cant find or figure out the answers. Most likely someone here has been through the same thing.

Hi Henry & Mary Ann! Welcome to IRV2! We're sure glad you found us! Congrats on the new rig! We pulled a 5er for 10 years before changing to a Class A a few months ago. Good luck, have fun, and God bless!

RVing on the cheap?

Congrats on your new rig. I hope you enjoy it!

But I am a newbie and seek a cost inefficient way to RV, therefore, I have many questions.

To be begin, I am a 100% SC P/T veteran and I plan to seek out national parks, and military installations anywhere that I can find them to save $. Here say they are very cheap, and I have an America the Beautiful access pass, and CA state park pass, as well.

Has anyone here, veteran or otherwise, have any experience with such an RVing experience? I just purchased 2000 Fleetwood Tioga (29'), therefore, am a newbie......Yikes?

Thank you.

James
