New to the RV world!

Hello everyone! We are brand new to the RV world, a young family of 4. It's been a life long dream to own our own RV and we have finally completed it ! We have a 2005 Holiday Rambler Neptune, 36ft diesel. However; we have no idea how to use our unit! The owners manually provides great information but I'm wondering if anyone of you out there were able to take some forms of course on how to operate the RV? Driving it felt fine but now it's onto the functions that we're most interested in. Any guidance is appreciated more than we can express!
Stay well!

Welcome to the forum. Congrats on the new rig. You might want to hire an RV inspector for a day to show you the systems.

You are joining a good group of folks here with good information to share. Read the various threads here and ask questions as they come up or add information if you can.

Good luck and enjoy the adventure!

Aboard the forums, there is a wealth of knowledge out here. All you have to do is ask and you'll get answers. Sorry I can' t help with your questions, but I'm sure someone will come along. Happy Travels.

I'd recommend reviewing anything related to hook ups (electrical cord, water hoses, sewer, cable tv/sat). I think you should familiarize yourself with those first (besides anything driving-related). Then get out all your documentation that came with the rig and read it around the camp fire or when the kids go to the pool. Then ask questions here about anything you need or are curious about. Here's a great resource:

Nice to have you onboard with us.

I found years ago that just asking fellow campers at RV parks is a great way to break the ice and learn.

Just browse the forums and ask questions, most of our members will be eager to help you.
