New to the travel trailer life

Hey all we are newbies to the travel trailer life. we have a 2006 Jayco jay flight 29 ft camper and are super excited to see what fun is in store for us! Hoping to hear some good tips,pointers,or camp areas for two little kids, two adults, and one Rottweiler. We live in Illinois right by Peoria in Morton. Thanks in advance for any recommendations.

Welcome to the Forum! Sounds like a nice set up for your family and all lined up to have some fun and bonding. Kids and pets love camping.

Have you gotten and water line filter and pressure regulator? If not, might want to do that. CG's (campgrounds) can have high water pressure and sometimes the water isn't the cleanest. Don't want any problems.

It is also a good idea to empty your hot water heater of water when not in use. The water left in it can make quite a nasty smell when in between use. Just keeps it from being a problem.
