Hello y'all, I'll definitely be asking questions. I have a 2018 Winnebago View 24V model. I dolly tow a 2018 Mini Clubman S standard 6 speed. I am in the process of installing Blue Ox base plate and wiring to flat tow.
If any of you have done your own install i'll be asking you about your installation.

Thanks,
David

David;

We are glad you joined us. I agree with your decision to flat tow. I purchased a used 97 Adventure and a dolly about 20 years ago in Florida. By the time my wife and I drove it home to Wisconsin we decided to sell the dolly and we have been flat towing until we sold our Horizon in 2018.

There is a wealth of RV info available to you here just by asking. Browse the forums that interest you and don't be afraid to ask questions as our members like to help when they can.

Post often and share your RV adventures with us. Enjoy the forums.

Don

Howdy and welcome to the forum. This is a great place to learn and share your experiences. I have installed two Blue Ox baseplates. Instructions are easy to follow and comprehensive. Take your time and it isn't terribly difficult if you have basic mechanical skills and appropriate tools. I would suggest using a torque wrench if you have one, I twisted a bolt off on my first install.
Enjoy the trip and best wishes for miles and years of memory making.
