New to Travel Trailers

Have had a pop-up camper for years (20+), now near retirement and up-grading to a travel trailer. Like the Keystone Cougar 31SQB, it has the floor plan we like. Will most likely buy this month, but need a bigger truck to handle it, my Toyota Tacoma won't handle it. Any suggestions? Prefer a crew cab with short bed.

I wont suggest a truck for someone else. Everybody has their preferences. What I will tell you is this, think and plan 5 years ahead. Where do you see yourselves in 5 years? In a larger TT of possibly a fifth wheel? If so, buy your next next truck first.
While you might not need that much truck today, tomorrow could being a whole different idea to you. It took me four vehicles to get it right. Now after 8 years with this truck I have zero regrets, except I wish I had gone to a dually first.
As to what brand? Go drive all of them and decide which YOU like best, and what dealer will make you the best deal. You want a crew cab short bed. Me I would never own a short bed. Why loose 2 feet of precious cargo space? The key is planning.
