OceanKing --

Welcome to the forum and welcome to the Newmar family. Both are fantastic groups of people and machines!

I'll confess that until your post that I didn't know Newmar once had a model named Grand Star. A 2008 sales brochure for the Grand Start shows it to be constructed in the usual high quality manner as all Newmar coaches --> https://library.rvusa.com/brochure/08_GrandStar_A.pdf

Is this your first motorhome?

When you have a moment, please create a "signature" that provides info about your coach e.g. year, manufacturer, model, etc. as this info will help get quick answers you have from the forum.

Best wishes for many enjoyable, safe adventures in your Grand Star and don't hessitate asking the forum for help at any time!

Welcome to the forum and congrats on the new rig. Remember the learning curve is very long but thankfully only steep in the beginning.

You are joining a good group of folks here with good information to share. Read the various threads here and ask questions as they come up or add information if you can.

Good luck and enjoy the adventure!
