New TT Owners from Missouri

Hello, my husband and I have had our TT for a week & we already have a funny story to tell! We bought our new TT three weeks ago & had a two week wait to pick it up. So last week we drove it home & were stymied at backing it into the driveway. We just couldn't manage it. We ended up PULLING it into the driveway somewhat diagonally and just leaving it there overnight with the tow vehicle boxed in. We called a friend who had experience backing trailers, and he directed us how to maneuver our rig into the spot we chose to park. (We had thought we wouldn't have a problem because we've owned & parked a pop-up prior to the TT.)

Welcome to the forum and congrats on the new rig.

You are joining a good group of folks here with good info to share. It gets easier backing in after lots of practice. Go to a local mall parking lot when it is empty and the stores are closed. Put out some traffic cones and practice.

Good luck and enjoy the adventure!
