New Used 2007 Majestic 28a owner

Hi recently purchased a prior Cruise America 2007 28a from buyer who purchased it from Cruise America. High miles on the F450 drive train but solid maintenance and service records and the price was really good via a cash sale. I am not an Rv'er due to being on active duty military orders and owning a small dairy operation outside of Tampa (two time consuming jobs), however, purchased the RV to pull my livestock trailer to livestock shows and to dog shows, since my dog and I are an agility team. The base model and style of the cruise America Majestic 28a fit my needs for both types of short weekend trips and the drive train can pull an aluminum livestock trailer also. Hoping to learn more about my model and issues known to the f450 drivetrain.

Welcome to a very informative community. I own a Chevy chassis but my brother-in-law has the same engine that you have. The search box above has so much information. We use it to try to diagnose the problems that pop up. I hope that you enjoy the motorhome. Sounds like a smart purchase for you.

Thanks my farm truck is a f 350 but diesel so I am hoping to have a good experience with the F450 gas engine too. My mechanic felt like for the price we were able to get the 2007 28a we could do any engine repair to even replacement while staying under the base used value of the one we purchased is. (the seller was from outside the country who bought it for a year long trip around the US and they were leaving the country to return home and HAD to sell it) So I feel I got a very good price and it was thousands under what I was looking at price wise for a class b which is what I had intended to buy.
