My husband and I just bought this 2000 Newmar Dutch Star DP 38' with two slides and a Spartan Chassis. We will be towing our race car in a 20' enclosed trailer and also exploring the country in this motorhome. Currently has a 5k hitch, which we will be upgrading to a 10k hitch.
We have 3 small dogs that we will be traveling with as well.
We are excited to get started!
First on the list is getting it cleaned (should we get the carpet professionally cleaned since a rented rug doctor can't really reach in all the nooks and crannies...) or is it easy/cheap enough to replace the floor?
Also have to figure out why the blinkers don't work when the headlights are on and replace the screen in the entry door.
I'm super interested in tips and tricks.
