Newb here fron So Cal
Hello everyone,
Escondido residents here. The wife and I are first time buyers of an RV. We decided to start with a used one, small issues ok, just to ensure it was right for us. The last thing i wanted was a payment sitting in front of our house that wasn't being used. We bought a 90 Dolphin 34' class A. She ain't gonna win any beauty contests but, everything functions and looks decent.
I have already used this forum to help decypher the reasoning for a squeeky furnace, great info found too I replaced both furnace motors today and all is quiet as can be now!
We primarily bought it for the desert to keep us and the kids warm......looking forward to camping trips, etc.
Anyhow, thanks for having me!

Bought two new motors and replaced them. The first furnace went smooth(with trial and error, only 1 3/4 hours). I thought the second one would be a breeze, I was wrong. The second furnace motor didn't want to come out. I had to remove the entire unit and get it on my workbench to hammer the motor shaft out of the smaller fan. All in all, about 5 hours of work and $200 in motors, all work nice and quiet now. Happy happy

Very smart move....buying a used one to make sure you like the RV style of fun.
If you decide you like it and move up to a newer rig you will have learned some valuable lessons from this first one.
Welcome!!

Howdy Ruffneck 29. What you did was in my opinion the best thing you could have done. Small investment, you'll gain tons of experience, it appears as if your not afraid to roll'em up and get'er done. I'm sure you will be just fine, enjoy and welcome.
