Newbee here in Central TX
I am going to pick up our first 5th wheel next weekend:rofl:!
We are going to do some short hops to get the bugs worked out and are looking for some spots to weekend at in central TX
Any info on some neat spots?

If it were bluebonnet season I'd recommend driving up toward Kerrville and Fredericksburg for the wildflowers. Or Johnson City for the park there.
I was up to Fredericksburg last week and noticed that there were a lot of places to park an RV. Next time I head that way I hope to be driving mine.

We just left Texas after almost 3 weeks in State Parks. We enjoyed Fort Parker State Park the best. Dinosaur Valley was enjoyable, lots of things to do.
My suggestion is to try them all. It pays to purchase the pass. Day fees can add up.
When you get a chance come to Louisiana, we have great parks here as well.
