Thumbs up Newbeme South Florida

My wife and I are veteran pop-up campers, traveling through Florida with our kids. But now the kids are grown and the pop-ups are sold. We are now deciding on whether it's an A-class or a C-class. I've got a couple of years left to work, my wife a little longer, so we want to to check out the differences. I've perused this site and I'm sayin' what incredible knowledge and friendly the folks on this blog has. Thanks for letting us join.
Sincerely,
James and Laurette

Welcome to the forum!

When we started looking at MH's we went to Camping World and we drove a C and an A. We thought we would be happy with a C because it drove more like a van or truck, but when we read and studied more we decided to go with an A. The A takes a little more getting used to for driving, but now I really enjoy driving and especially the extra room and the view.
I don't necessarily recommend CW to buy from... It is definitely a buyer beware situation, but then that's true no matter where you buy.

Good luck with your search!

James & Laurette;

We are happy you joined us. All of my 5 motorhomes have been Class A. A friend encouraged me to purchase my first RV and he said his advice was to purchase a Class A as that would be what I would end up with anyway. He was correct. Post often and share your new RV adventures with us.

Hello James and Laurette,

We are also new to the RV world and bought a used Winnebago back in May. Debbie and I had been looking off and on for about a year and looking at how much more room the Class A provides, we ruled out the Class C truck cab style.

We are also in South Florida and welcome you to iRV2 Forums. If you have any questions about why we chose the Class A, we would be more than happy to discuss further.

Debbie and I are a year and a half from full retirement and we decided to get some experience before heading out across the country on our dream retirement trip.
