Hello everyone! I just wanted to take this opportunity to introduce myself to you all. My family and I love to travel. After our resent road trip from California to South Carolina, we realized our passion for hitting the road. My family, which consists of myself, my wife, and my three children (7, 8, and 12) have yet to purchase an RV, but will soon be in the market for one. Although our experience traveling in the 'swagger wagon' was enjoyable, we realized what we were missing...
I am interested in any advice you can offer from your experiences, either in travels and/or RV products.
We are already planing our next year trip to Mt. Rushmore and look forward to seeing and experiencing more of God's Country.
We are looking into two motorhomes. First being the FR3 30D and the other the Winnebago access premier 31jp. Any thoughts. Our plan for traveling are long term. There are features we like in both.
I have 6 weeks off a year, and plan on taking the family on trips for those durations, including weekend getaways to local camp grounds.

Welcome to irv2. I'm not familiar with your choices but I'm sure others will be here soon or you can go to those forums here and see what they say.

Welcome to you and the family. I an not familiar with units you mention so can offer no worthwhile opinion there. Best of luck with your choice and future travels.

Hi folks! Welcome to IRV2! It's great to have you join us!
I hope you find the right RV for your needs. I would suggest that you post questions over in the specific areas of the forum for best results. Not many folks hang out here in the Welcome area. Enjoy the forum!
Good luck, happy trails, and God bless!

Welcome, I know this has to be an exsiting time for your young family. One note to your Mt. Rushmore trip, don't stay to long, we planned a week there and after a few days the magic wears off, the buffalo stink and the side trips get longer. Study your trip wisely and your kids will love every minute of it!

Welcome and many happy safe miles to you. We spent 2 days at Mt Rushmore and it was more than enough. Parts of WY. are beautiful lots to do. Spead out the trip you'll have a blast!
