Greetings all,

I'm new to the forums but I've been using RVTripWizard for a year now and coming up on my first renewal.

A little about myself: I'm 53, I've been camping since about 18 or so starting with car camping in and around the Smokies, moving onto backpacking for several years well into my 30s traveling the country once a year on vacations, then bought my first kid came and a few years later, my first popup. Got separated a few years after that then had several years of mediocrity aka no camping. Got a new gf about 10 years ago and in 2016 we bought a popup, used it once (no bathroom oh the horrors!), then 4 months later moved up to a new Jayco Jay Feather X19H hybrid to keep the tent/camping feel. We've been out west (my fav) only once so far, so hopefully more of that is in my future.

So that's where I'm at currently and at the moment, waiting for spring to return. Hopefully a little earlier this year!

I think it's awesome that you're able to get back into the woods again. I'm a true newbie. Grew up in Chicago. I think I tent camped twice as a kid. So me jumping right into a great big 5th wheel made perfect sense.

Welcome.
