Newbie

We bought our 2008 Pleasure-Way the first of July 2010. Completely new to the MH agenda. We tent camped years ago. Mostly on Mt St Helens and transfers in the Air Force. Although, we have visited every state except Alaska and all the Canadian provinces bordering on the U.S. We took our first trip to upper state NY from Tupelo, MS and return. The next experience was much better going to Branson, MO. The forums* 4 of which I have perused through from oldest post to most recent have given me a wealth of information. To bad I haven't been able to digest it all. There seems to be a endless amount to retain in order to successfully avoiding screw-ups. I realize there is a learning curve and since all the indoctrination was non-existent from the salesperson and the dealer (they were not familiar with the class B because it was a trade in and not a product they sold) I am finding out new things each day. By the time I get to be an old timer RV/er this old timer will be ready for a nursing home.

Hello and welcome. I agree there is a goldmine of information and experience here and we have been aided by both in the few months as a member. The learning curve is a fun experience in itself for us.
Thanks for your service to the country. There is a forum here for vets, you may want to give that a look too.
