Newbie but Oldie
Howdy!
Parents and I are back into an RV after a few years. Had an older Class Aa few years ago that left a bad taste in my parents mouth. 92 Winnebago Brave, 28', 454 V8, no slides. Served its purpose, but ended up being a money pit. Tomorrow, we pick up a much newer Class C. An 08 Fleetwood Jamboree 31M, double slide, V10, with less than 10k miles. It rides much nicer than the old beast, and has much more room. I joined another forum first, and found that they were not as helpful as this one when I asked about toad vs dolly towing. This is definitely the best place for newbies!

So, we did not take ownership of the MH today as expected. Apparently there was an issue with the oven regulator, so they replaced it. But now the oven will not light. So, since we were not planning on using it right away, they kept the unit so they can figure out what is going on. They reassured us that if they had to replace everything to get it working the would. Buy now they can take their time and fix it right. We should hopefully the delivery a week from Saturday as we all will be out of town until next week. Other than that issue, the walk through was great and we learned a few things about the unit. Lots of safety features as would have never known about.
We also learned that Roadside Service is going to be a must, and Coach-Net is going to be the provider.
Thank you all for the welcomes, I already feel like last of the forum family!
