Newbie from Chico, California
My oh my! I bought my first RV. A 96 Coachman Catalina 22.
I was raised in a boating family & although land locked for years, I've done some camping... so I'm excited about the journey(s) to come but more than a bit nervous about what I don't know that I need to know but won't find out until I'm knee deep.
Tonight I came home from work to find my CO2 monitor ringing (Rig is out front this week while I try & squeeze in some after hours work on it).
I had no idea I had to charge the thing! I just put a new one in 2 wks ago... I'm grateful to find this out before I head out for my first trip but it just makes me realize how much I have to learn.
I'm so glad to have been able to read over your shoulders while I pondered with the idea of RV'ing for the last year. I learned a lot. So I guess tonight I'll be spending my evening reading about batteries in RVs & the essentials of the electrical system
If all goes well I'll see you out there one of these days!

A few local trips may be smart before a multi-day outing.
Woodson Bridge or Bidwell Marina are both short/easy trips.
