Newbie from Hickory Tavern, SC(upstate)
Hello all, this is my first post here. I am just stopping in to say hello. My family, wife and 2 daughters, and I are starting to camp and explore more. I found this forum and so far, it seems like a great place to learn, share and network.
Thanks and God Speed to you all.

Ah, the one male in the gaggle of girls !!!!
Know it well !
Get a male dog so you have SOME chance in the woman's democratic process
Enjoy, don't be in a rush, the journey is part of the adventure for the girls !!!
I can't tell you the number of times they say...
"Dad, remember when.... "
and now, the grand daughters say "Pop-Pop - remember when.... "
the good stuff !!!!

We carried our new baby(Fuzion) on her first family adventure this weekend. We went to Elijah Clark State Park, GA. They were having the kids fish fest and the girls loved it.
I had the camper ready after the three girls got out of school. The wifey had suffered from a hard week of teaching and had mentioned needing a break. Me, I took that as an excuse to run away.
We left at 530 and were set up and ready yo go by 900PM.
We sat around the campfire and made S'mores, fished and mostly just spent family time.
We looked at the beauty that our amazing God supplies for us and relished in the lap of luxury.
I can't think of many days that were more special!!
