Newbie from Mississippi

New member checking in. The girl friend and I bought an 07 Jayco Octane in October of 2011 and. Both of us are new to camper ownership but not camping. We have 5 kids between us but only 2 full time (22,21,20,17,8). We've had some speed bumps along the way with this camper but I think we are starting to learn some of the quirks of the camper systems. I'm on a couple of camper forums so I can research and learn. Don't post a lot until I have a question. So far I've modded the power cord from the hard wired pull out to a weather tight twist outlet. I have several mods I'd like to do time and money willing. Look forward to reading and learning on here. Thanks Ron

Welcome to the group. We all have hit speed bumps from time to time. We learn from them. Safe, trouble free travels.

Hi Ron! Welcome to IRV2! It's great to have you guys join the bunch here! We think this is the best RV forum on the web! Lots of friendly folks eager to share their experiences and knowledge, and great moderators who are always fair and respectful. Try finding THAT on another forum! Give us a call if you're ever down around Columbus. We have a really nice COE CG here, Dewayne Hayes. It's one of the best RV parks we have ever found. Good luck, have fun, and God bless!
