Newbie from Nebraska
Just joined this morning! Looking forward in gaining some additional knowledge about owning a 98 Pace Arrow motorhome. Been out of the camping scene for about 7 years, originally had a 29' fifth wheel. This will certainly be a new adventure and learning experience. I've had a few issues, which I will address later on the forum relating to jack leveler replacement and power streering pump leaking.

Hi Ken! Welcome to IRV2! We're glad you joined the gang here!
Congrats on the new 5er! We pulled a 5er for 10 years before getting the MH last year. We loved it!
Hope you enjoy the forum!
Good luck, happy trails, and God bless!

Used to love those pace arrows as a kid. Enjoy your barely broken in Fleetwood. House systems you can probably take care of in your sleep, good luck with your levellers and pump. Enjoy the open road.

Welcome Ken!
When I got my 94 PA, the levelers did not work. I went without for a few months until I had time to mess with them. When I started troubleshooting, they were magically working again! Hope you have the same experience.

Thanks for all of the welcomes! I'm just kind of feeling my way around right now. Looks like a very good forum to be associated with. Yes I am having trouble with my leveler jacks at the present time, I removed it (and it was quite a chore) as it was leaking. Wasn't when I bought it - go figure. Have it a local hydraulic shop getting new seals etc., hope that's all that's wrong. The float level switch is another issue that needs to be addressed.
lijbs, well as many know Nebraska doesn't have a lot of good things but it is a great place to live. I live in Kearney, we have a state recreation area just South of town - Ft. Kearny which was named after the old fort in yesteryear. Actually a really nice campground, probably have camped there hundreds of times from 1970-on.
Also have a white elephant (Great Platte River Archway) that spans I-80. The court jesters did quite a sell to the bond holders in the tune of 60 million dollars to construct it. Still operational but been through bankruptcy already. Give me a call when you stop or go through.
Ken.

Welcome Ken from neighbors to the north! We are from southeastern South Dakota. Been through your area many times and I am SHOCKED that the Archway cost that much. It does look kinda cool. Enjoy this site and the RV experience.
