Newbie from Newbury Park Ca.

Hello All
My name is James and my wife is Lisa. After year of saying "if we just had an RV" we just brought our 1st RV. A 23' 1996 Dutchman on a Ford F350. We live in SoCal (Ventura) area. Lisa races road bicycles and the primary purpose of the RV will be to drive to races. Most of the trips will be between 60 and 200 miles of home. But some can be as far as 800 miles! Our favorite vacation place is Bend Or. and we look forward to using the RV (Sandy) for our next trip. Lisa is not too much into the details of RVing...As long as I can get the twinkly lights to light up the awing she'll be happy. I am a bit more detailed and a DYI kind of guys. So I look forward to meeting you and will appreciate your advice, comments, suggestions, and most of all Patience as I learn the wonderful world of RVing.

Thank You and Happy Trails!

Howdy and from Ohio . I like the DIY stuff too. My misses is the same as yours, make it look pretty, sparkly and most of all make sure it works.

Thank you everyone. Lisa and I are excited about our 1st trip. Planning on making an overnight to our local beach. The goal is to get familiar with the RV and learn what we can.... Like draining the black water. Oh boy can't wait 😃
