My wife and I currently looking to buy a class c motor home. we looked at a 1995 30 minnie winnie. Nice condition needs some tlc. We are not jumping on the first one we see, as I will be looking a 1988 conquest 27 footer. After hurrincane Sandy hit the NJ coast line our 30 foot Searay flybridge dodge a huge bullet. we decided it was time to sell the boat and go back to RV. I do not intend to buy new but looking for a nice motorhome. I read some issues about the motorhome being 10yrs old or older. that here may issues in getting a campsite. Its there loss not mine.

Howdy and welcome to iRV2! There's a lot of great info here, so check out the Class C owners section and ask all the questions you want! Some "RV RESORTS" have rules about the age of an RV, but for the most part campgrounds don't care as long as your RV looks reasonably well kept.
Most if not all RV parks I've visited have allowed RVs older than 10 years as along as they are reasonably maintained. I have read where some parks have requested photos when making your reservations but believe that to be the exception rather than the rule.
It seems the rule is more for the expensive resort type parks.

Welcome to the group. Good luck on your search. As stated above don't worry about the ten year rule. It does exist but I've never seen it. Buy what you like and enjoy it.

Hi, welcome to IRV2. Good luck finding the right MH for you. I wouldn't worry about the age, as I have only come across one "Resort" that had the 10 year rule.
