Newbie from Syracuse NY area

Getting a late start, but better late than never. Did many months of research and liked this site. Previous RV was a tiny pop-up Scamper we had for a short time about 40 years ago. Now we are ready to do some traveling while we still can. Decided a Class A would be best for us. Studied the gas vs diesel discussions at length, and could have gone either way. My preference was to find a privately owned, clean older rig, one owner, with some good documentation. Recently bought a 2000 Newmar Dutch Star 3851 DP. There's plenty to learn, but with the help of this site we will be on the road shortly. Let's roll.

from WA State.

I've had two DSDP's. An '00 3865 and an '02 4090. Both good rigs. In fact the '02 was the easiest to maintain even after 13 yrs of ownership.
